Andreas DETTWILER is professor of New Testament Studies at the University of Geneva. His primary fields of research are the Johannine and Pauline literature, emerging Christianity in the context of Greco-Roman culture and questions of hermeneutics. Among his recent publications: Receptions of Paul in Early Christianity (co-ed. with J. Schröter and S. Butticaz, Berlin, De Gruyter, 2018) and Karl Barth’s Epistle to the Romans – Retrospect and Prospect (co-ed. with C. Chalamet and S. Stewart-Kroeker, Berlin, De Gruyter, 2022).
