The publication of each book heralds the start of its distribution and promotion period. At this stage, we want to engage in dialogue with our authors to ensure that our books are distributed in an appropriate and relevant way.

Promotion

Getting the word out about your books is very important to us. That is why we announce all new releases in our newsletter.

and we use social media to disseminate the publication extensively. We also pass on the information to our university partners and any faculties, institutes, departments, or other university centers you suggest . They, in turn, use their newsletters, websites and social media pages to relay the information.

Reviews

Reviews in recognized specialist journals in the field of your work help to promote your research. At Academic Press, we ensure the targeted distribution of your work and send a copy to the leading journals in your field at your suggestion.

Launch party

For each book published by our press, we organize a launch party either at our headquarters, in our partner bookshops, or in a special venue chosen by the author that aligns with the publication.

Events

To showcase the research behind your books, we organize events such as conferences, round tables, and book discussions. We also participate in symposia, congresses, and university conferences, where we set up stands for our publishing house that showcase your work. Additionally, we participate in events such as the Geneva Book Fair.

Media coverage

Thanks to our network of contacts in our editorsfields of expertise, we can ensure both broad and specialized media coverage for books whose themes are likely to resonate with society at large. This means we can offer you interviews or articles in newspapers, on the radio, or on television.



Distribution

International

Our books are distributed internationally by Hachette Distribution.

Local

We handle local distribution. We take care of shipments within Switzerland and make personal deliveries when recipients are located close to our headquarters.

As an author, you have the possibility to collect copies of your book in person from Academic Press. Our stock is available to authors.
